The cyclists from Rising Star Cycling Academy, Ibadan have emerged champions at the just concluded third Lagos State cycling championship held on Saturday.
Iqmat Odebiyi and Olamiposi clinched first and second positions respectively in under 10 Female Category.
Team Oyo also excelled in the under 15 female Category where Olamide Aminu and Rodiyat Mukadam took first and third positions respectively.
The academy also recorded another first position at the under 15 boys category through lsiak Mukadam.
Coach kolapo Aminu of the rising stars cycling academy while reflecting on the competition said that the competition which served as means of discovering new talents for upcoming national youth games would also promote cycling as means of achieving a healthy lifestyle.
Aminu while commending the organiser of the competition said that the turnout was impressive noting that next year’s edition promises to be more better and well organised.
The event featured recognition and presentation of gifts to the outstanding cyclists.
