Pastor Chris to host global New Year’s Eve Service Dec. 31
Loveworld Inc. is set to hold the global December 31 New Year’s Eve service with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in Christ embassy churches worldwide.
The service is said to be streamed live on all loveworld networks, loveworld TV and radio networks around the world.
The event will take place at the LoveWorld Crusade Grounds in Lagos, Nigeria, from 8.00 p.m on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024.
Speaking to Journalists on Monday in Lagos ahead of the program, Member of the Central Executive Council loveworld Inc, Pastor Ambrose Israel said, the New Year Eve service is more than just a service.
Israel noted that it will be an opportunity to start the year with a clear direction, guidance, a fresh perspective, divine inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“As we all know, the year 2024 has been quite eventful, it has also brought countless lessons and opportunities for growth.
“This special service is designed to help you open the door to a future that is brighter, more prosperous, and filled with God’s abundant blessings.”
Ambrose noted that the New Year Eve service with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a night of extraordinary significance and encourages everyone – families, friends and nations- to come together, participate and be part of the Life-changing event.

The New Year Eve service will also be a night to recognise young African champions in a special segment of the service dubbed the Future Africa Leaders’ Award (FALA) segment.
At the awards, young people from different African countries would be recognized and honored for their ingenuity and dogged commitment towards developing the continent.
The award celebrates 10 exceptional African youths who have made significant contributions to their communities through innovation, education, advocacy, and social development.
Each winner will receive a $10,000 grant, while one outstanding leader among them will receive an additional $25,000 grant. Since its inception, 110 youths from 28 African countries have been recognized from thousands of annual entries.
Speaking on the award, Pastor Tuoyo Temisan, a member of the Central Executive Council, noted that the FALA initiative is inclusive and open to all African youths, regardless of their religion: “In previous years, non-Christians have also emerged as winners,” he stated.
Reflecting on the outgoing year, tagged the “Year of Redemption,” Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, Director of Corporate Affairs, LoveWorld Inc., and Zonal Director of Christ Embassy Lagos Zone 1, described it as a year of profound spiritual impact.
“Through initiatives such as Reach out World, millions of lives have been touched globally. Our daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, has reached countless individuals in multiple languages and formats, ensuring accessibility to the Gospel worldwide,” Pastor Chiemeka stated.
