Oyo Govt. sets to present Abese of Ogbomoso Land, others Staff of Office
The Oyo State Government has fixed Jan 31 for the presentation of staff of office to High Chief Oladapo Yusuf Kasali, the Abese of Ogbomoso land.
Chief Kasali confirmed this while speaking with the shadanpamareporters on Wednesday in Ogbomoso.
He said that others to be presented the staff of office along with him on Wednesday Jan. 31,2024 are Alaasa of Ogbomoso land, High Chief Joseph Oyelola Oyedele and Baale of Yaku, Chief Ojewumi Sunday Oyeniyi.
Shadanpamaeporters report that congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the Abese.
Eulogising the Abese, the Ogbomosho Progressive Committee of Friends (OPCF) and Retired Correctional Services Officers Association among others said that the chief had shown a lot of goodwill and commitment to the development and well-being of the ancient town.
OPCF said that Abese had contributed a lot to the growth of the land and peaceful co existence, expressing optimism that the chief would use his experience and connection to bring better thing to Ogbomoso.
OPCF urged the people of Ogbomoso to support all the traditional rulers in the land to expedite growth and development of the land. (www.shadanpamareporters)
