Oshinowo inspects rehabilation of Agboyi Road, orders removal of illegal stalls
The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work executed so far on the rehabilitation of Agboyi Road.
Oshinowo, however, urged the contractor to commence the desilting of Olaitan Oshinuga Street, Alapere.
The council boss inspected the rehabilitation exercise in company of senior officials of the LCDA.
Meanwhile, Oshinowo, during the inspection directed the council’s Supervisor of Environment, Comrade Toheeb Durosimi to take action against illegal stalls encroaching footpaths as well as abandoned vehicles on Agboyi Road.
The chairman, however, urged the Supervisor to carry out the exercise with human facee by placing a notice of removal and sensitising the people.
According to him, defaulters of the notice will have their vehicles impounded and stalls destroyed.
On the kick-off of asphalt paving operation, Oshinowo requested the cooperation and sacrifice of residents
He explained that the exercise would commence from the downpart of Agboyi Jetty with a time frame of two weeks for completion.
