Nigeria’ll get much more better in 2025, APC assures

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC), says Nigeria will get much more better in 2025 with the commitment of President Bola Tinubu to build sustainable systems for growth and development.

 

The Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, gave this assurances at the party’s Christmas Carol and Nine Lessons on Sunday evening, tagged “Christ In You, Hope of Glory”.

 

The Carol held at the Party Secretariat, ACME Road, Ogba, drew hundreds of APC members, leaders as well as some members of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s cabinet.

 

The event witnessed a lot of fireworks, high praises from various artistes and choirs including the Hallelujah Chorus among other activities.

Ojelabi, who noted that the 2024 had been challenging economically and politically, said that the President had been able to stabilise the country.

 

“We thank God for giving us President Bola Tinubu who is bold, courageous and able to take some very decisive decision that at the end of the day will make life much more better.

 

“As we are moving into 2025, I want to reassure Nigerians that the principle and philosophy of the ‘Renewed Hope’  is very much of course, and things will get much more better,” the chairman said.

 

According to him, the party has every cause to appreciate God for the sterling performances of Tinubu and  Sanwo-Olu in Lagos.

 

Ojelabi said that the Carol was the party’s initiative to appreciate God for all He had been doing for the ruling party while steering the affairs of the country.

 

“With all the effort Mr President is putting into developing the economy and the effort of the Governor of Lagos State, we need to thank God. These flagbearers of our party are doing wonderfully well.

 

“We don’t have anything other than to appreciate God for what He is using this gentleman (Tinubu) to reform the economy and make life much more prosperous for our people.

 

“Generally, APC has every cause to thank Almighty God for what we are seeing. Today, we are increasing in membership. Our number is the House of Representatives keeps increasing.

 

“This shows that the people has come to term with the philosophy of the All Progressives Congress.

 

“So, it (Carol) is our own little way of showing appreciation and reaching out to the members of the public who are vulnerable,” he said.

 

According to him, as 2025 approaches, Nigerians must remain focused and united in supporting the party’s efforts to rebuild the country and set it in path of sustainable development.

 

He said that Nigerians must believe more in the philosophy and the reform agenda of the President.

 

Calling for support for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu, Ojelabi sais, “The Renewed Hope Agenda of this administration is in the best interest of our nation.

In his short remark, Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Mr Ibrahim Layode, assured residents of his commitment to achieving THEME Plus Agenda.

 

Commending the people for their continued support for APC, Sanwo-Olu said that the government would not rest on its oars but be more dedicated to improving condition of living.

 

Urging residents to be optimistic and committed to the growth and development in the state, Sanwo-Olu called them to set aside their differences and embrace peace and unity.

 

 

 

He said, “ We have every reason to be thankful for what God has used our party to achieve at the centre, state, and local government.

 

“The journey of the APC is by resilience and we should also remember the value that binds us,” he said.

 

In his remark and prayer, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the  Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Lagos State, who commended the party leadership for the Carol, prayed God to keep the state progress.

 

The party distributed 25kg of EKO Rice to more than 2,000 members drawn from across electoral wards in the state at the event.

 

The event was attended by the Wife of Lagos Deputy Governor, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat, Wife of Chief of Staff to the President, Mrs Salamotu Gbajabiamila, members of the State Cabinet and party executives.

 

Also at the event we’re some members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, local government chairmen, traders’ associations and religious and ethnic groups.
