Lagos Tourism Icon: Toke-Benson honoured for outstanding contributions
Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, has been honored with a special recognition award for her outstanding contributions to Lagos tourism development.
The award was presented by Eko Destination Ltd, a Lagos-based Destination Marketing Company, during the maiden edition of the Destination Lagos Awards and Ojuibile Eko Beauty Pageant held last Friday 27th of December, 2024.
The Award is a testament to Commissioner Benson-Awoyinka’s tireless efforts in promoting Lagos as a premier tourism destination, in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s vision for the state’s tourism industry.
Under her leadership, the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture has implemented various initiatives aimed at developing and promoting the state’s tourism industry.
