Economic hardship: NLC’s Ajaero declares two-day mass protest
The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day nationwide protest on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28.
Joe Ajaero made the announcement at Labour House, Abuja, at a news conference.
The protest was declared to press the demands on the current hardship being faced by Nigerians since the removal of fuel subsidy on May 29, 2023.
Ajaero also accused the President Bola Tinubu-led government of failing to respond to the needs of citizens.
