APC Nat’l Youth Leader condoles Gov. Namadi over mother, son’s death
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader, Dr Dayo Israel, has commiserated with Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa over the loss of his mother and son within 24 hours.
Israel described the incident as “ugly and a national tragedy” while conveying his condolences in a statement on Thursday in Lagos, on behalf of the progressives youths across the nation and the diaspora to the Jigawa governor,
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that tragedy struck Namadi’s family following the death of his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi, in a fatal car accident on Dec. 26, 2024.
The incident occurred barely 24 hours after the governor lost his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.
Reacting, Israel said: “We the progressives youths are deeply saddened by the demise of our beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi Umar, and our dear brother, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, who died recently.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family and relatives of the governor,” he said.
The youth leader noted that Abdulwahab’s sudden demise was a devastating news that was never thought off.
“While the party is still mourning the loss of our dear mother, I was shocked to receive the heartbreaking news of our brother unbelievable demise too.
“Who are we to question? ” We can prayed to Allah to grant them Aljannatul Firdaus and give the governor and his family the strength to bear the irreplaceable losses.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your, family and your administration.
“We pray Allah rest His peaceful hands and the government and people of Jigawa State,” Israel added.
