2027: We still believe in Atiku’s transformative agenda– Support group

AThe Nigeria Youths For Atiku (NYFA), a support group of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, says it still believes in his transformative agenda for the nation, urging Nigerian youths to rally round him in 2027

The group’s Director of Publicity, Mr Dare Dada, in a statement on Sunday urged Nigerians to embrace the Waziri of Adamawa for presidency.

Dada said that the 2023 PDP Presidential Candidate remained a non tribalised Nigeria who strongly believes in the unity of Nigeria.

He said that Abubakar’s reign as the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria would bring to an end the current economic hardship bedeviling the country.

Describing current socio-economic hardship as unnecessary, Dada said that the removal of oil subsidy by APC -led President Bola Tinubu administration could have been done in phases.

He said that the step had brought the economy on its kneel, affecting standard of living.

“No economic prosperity can be guaranteed under an unfriendly loan rates that are anti-business,” Dada said.

He said that the nation must rise above policy summersaults and wastages, affecting prosperity in the nation.

He said that Abubakar had the experience in both private and public life which could be brought to fore to run the affairs of the country effectively.

According to him, Abubakar believes so much in more devolution of powers to the states and local government, “as the current structure will not bring prosperity to Nigeria.”

“We have earlier called on the former Vice President to run for the exalted office in 2027.

“The call is premised on the believe that he remains the only candidate who can wrestle power from APC led government,” Dada said.
